La Dame se refait une beauté!

The construction will start soon! There’s new development in my collaboration with the Montreal South West borough for the renovation of Notre-Dame street! This morning during a press conference, Mayor Benoît Dorais unveiled the plans for the new layout of the street! I had to design three panels to explain the process and nature of the work to be done. One is actually a giant Ponto comic featuring “La Dame” and other characters I created for the campaign. The second panel is a rendering of the new Bonheur-d’Occasion Park (with a bonus minigame!) and the third one is a plan of the new layout for the street. All of them have a little Ponto touch and I’m really happy with how nice they looks! 😀

The panels are exhibited at Parc du Bonheur-d’Occasion corner of Notre-Dame street West and Rose-De-Lima! At the same time you can come say hi to Ponto’s lifesize clone and play on the public piano!

There’s also a new webcomic page (in French) !: http://www.ladame.org

Ponto in real life!
(UNTIL OCTOBER 3rd 2016!!!)

Did you know that there’s an installation featuring Ponto in Montreal?

Parc Bonheur d'occasion

Ponto has his own public at Bonheur d’Occasion park which is located at the corner of  Notre-Dame Ouest and Rose-De-Lima streets. It’s part of the project  “La Dame se refait une beauté” a collaboration I’m doing with the Sud-Ouest Borough! The piano will be there until some time in October. I also forgot to mention that the piano is covered during rainy days and if the weather is uncertain. I also painted an actual orange cone to look like Ponto. I’m so happy when you guys send me photos of selfies of him 🙂
