What do you think happened to Shingo? I dedicate the last frame to Dez the author of webcomic Frivolesque because he asked me how would a traffic light look like with glasses!
Montreal ComicCon-Table 2228

It’s coming soon! From July 8th to 10th I will be at the Montreal ComicCon which is held at the Palais des Congrès every year! I almost couldn’t make it since all the tables were sold out in November last year but Cubic Fox Props who is a fan of Ponto offered to share is table with me. You should check out his work if you like medieval and handcrafted items. He also has a new line of Montreal inspired-products like coasters and necklaces. So come and see us! I will be selling my usual Ponto merch like buttons, posters, postcards and plushies as well as the new Ponto hats!
Parc Jean Drapeau
If you follow Ponto on social media you’ve probably seen that he was invited to the launch party of Parc Jean-Drapeau’s summer program! it was a lot of fun and I’m happy that they gave me the opportunity to show the park through Ponto’s eyes. As Montrealers we often forget that Ste-Hélène island is a like an oasis that is easily accessible by metro. This summer there’s a lot of things going on, like activities organized at Jean Doré beach, the Weekends du Monde where you can experience different cultures, many festivals like Osheaga and more! Visit their website to learn more about the program!
Here’s a few photos from the event:

The theme of this summer is “2 steps away!”

Having a cocktail at the Jean Doré beach’s cabin.

The beach!

Come and dance Samba during the Weekends du monde!

You can also take a walk in the park and discover hidden gems like the Israël Garden!
Ponto in real life!
Did you know that there’s an installation featuring Ponto in Montreal?

Ponto has his own public at Bonheur d’Occasion park which is located at the corner of Notre-Dame Ouest and Rose-De-Lima streets. It’s part of the project “La Dame se refait une beauté” a collaboration I’m doing with the Sud-Ouest Borough! The piano will be there until some time in October. I also forgot to mention that the piano is covered during rainy days and if the weather is uncertain. I also painted an actual orange cone to look like Ponto. I’m so happy when you guys send me photos of selfies of him 🙂
